Creative Connections is a youth-focused Mental Health Month workshop that uses creativity and connection as pathways to wellbeing. Designed as a 1.5 hour session delivered onsite for community at the Glebe Youth Centre (on the lands of the Gadigal Peoples of the Eora Nation), this event brings together young people aged 12 -18 years for collaborative artmaking, reflective activity, and facilitated conversations.

Centered around the Mental Health Month theme, “A Little Connection Goes a Long Way,” the workshop celebrates youth voice and community spirit. A key feature of the session is the creation of a collective artwork titled “Threads of Connection,” where participants reflect on the people, places, and experiences that help them thrive and capture those insights through a shared artmaking process.
