Privacy Statement

WayAhead is committed to protecting any personal information we may collect during our work. The following outlines how and when we may collect personal information, how it will be used and its safe and secure storage.

We will only collect personal information that is necessary for our work and is lawful. For example, if you become a member of WayAhead, donate money, attend an event or participate in one of our programs we may need to collect some information from you.

You will know what information we are collecting as you will be asked to supply it.

We will only use the information for the purpose it was collected. If you are sharing personal information with us for the wider public, for example sharing your personal story we will seek your written permission to do so. See Guidelines for telling your story to WayAhead

Your information will be stored securely. We will take all steps possible to protect your information from misuse, loss and inappropriate access.

We will not disclose your information to any people or organisations without your permission. There are some rare instances that we may need to use your information for example if we were concerned about your wellbeing. We will tell you if we are sharing the information.

If you request to see your information we will provide it to you as quickly as possible. You can ask for information we have about you to be corrected at any time.

We will not keep your information for longer than is necessary. We will dispose of information securely and appropriately.
