“Steps Together” is a dedicated wellbeing lunch for First Nations Response volunteers, many of whom face their own challenges including trauma, social isolation, and financial stress. The event honours their contributions while providing a safe, culturally grounded space for connection, care, and reflection. The lunch will include a nourishing meal, a facilitated yarning circle led by Elders and trusted community members, and guest speakers with lived experience to encourage open conversations about mental health and self-care. Attendees will also receive wellbeing packs with practical resources and supports.
