Building on the key messages from the 3 Steps to Wellbeing Poster, this brochure explores the steps of Awareness, Acknowledgment, and Action in more detail. It encourages individuals to notice changes in how they feel, recognise when support may be helpful, and take meaningful steps—such as practicing self-care or reaching out for help—to support their mental health. It also lists a range of mental health supports, including 24/7 helplines, local and online services, resources for carers, self-help tools, and how to access professional help.
Schools Pack 2025-Feelings in Focus game
Wayahead has created a fun way for students from Stage 1 to Stage 4 to develop their understanding of emotions. The game starts by selecting an I feel card. In an everyday scenario our Wayahead emoticon character feels a strong emotion.
Using the matching I could card, students select a strategy our character could use when they feel this strong emotion.
Game playing is an engaging way to build knowledge and learn practical strategies in a safe environment. It's a great way for teachers, parents and carers to start the conversation about strong emotions with children and young people.
Teachers, parents and carers: Select a stage PDF game template to download. You'll find a 'How To' guide with instructions, optional introductory and follow up activities; 'I feel' card pack and 'I could' card pack for each stage (Stage 1,2,3 or 4).
The PDF resources are printable and ready to play!
