“An Integrated Workplace Mental Health Approach: The Way Forward”

Mental health problems are costly to the Australian workplace.  The idea of integrating workplace mental health programs has been slowly evolving as the research and evidence grows in this area.  The importance is now being understood around preventing harm, promoting the positives of work and utilising workers strengths, and managing mental illness and improving mental health literacy, to form a complete package of preventing mental health issues in the workplace.
