Mental Health for expecting and new parents
Perinatal Depression and Anxiety Awareness Week (PNDA) occurs nationally in November. Perinatal Depression & Anxiety Awareness Week will be held 14th – 18th of November in 2016. It is and is a great opportunity to raise awareness about perinatal mental health issues in your local community.
I’ve Been There – an educational website for young parents to find out more about pregnancy and parenting, as well as some of the mental health problems that are common during this time.
Anxiety in Children
Small Steps is a program that aims to raise awareness and improve the recognition of anxiety disorders in children. We do this by offering free ‘anxiety awareness’ seminars for primary school staff (teachers, principals, administrative staff) and parents.
