The WayAhead Directory contains up to date information on over 5300 mental health and welfare related services across NSW. For the past 20 years, the directory was distributed in books and CDs to workers across the NSW mental health sector. It is now online at http://directory.wayahead.org.au/, and is free to access for everyone.
You can also access the WayAhead Directory to find services in your local area by calling one of our Information Phone Services.
The WayAhead directory is a valuable, time saving resource for any community worker or health practitioner needing to make referrals, or to ‘simply know what’s out there’.
It is used by staff at the Mental Health Information Service on a daily basis to assist the general public, professionals and service providers. The content of the WayAhead Directory has been shaped over the years by the calls which staff have received, enabling us to create to a truly responsive and tailored directory to assist the community in finding their local mental health and other support services.
